Summary: Capterra ranks Intranet Connections’ Top 20 Document Management Software placing in the number 10 spot! We cover what Document Management Software is and who stacks up!
We may be new to the Capterra Top 20 list, but we’re not new to intranet software. At Intranet Connections, we believe in simplifying the way you work by continuously improving our software. We have turned, what is traditionally known as a communications network, into a robust, out-of-the-box software that includes Policy Management, ADSync Employee Directory, Online Forms and most notably Document Management, as recognized by Capterra in their Top 20 Document Management Software research.
Document Management Software updates your workplace into the 21st century by reducing the amount of paperwork organizations experience. The basic elements are; allowing easy online imports, document versioning, and tracking. In addition, when combined with intranet software, you can introduce online forms and approval workflows.
Senior Product Research Analyst, Rachel Wile, conducted the research when compiling the Top 20 list. The problem? There are over 350 document management software solutions out there. Capterra has given organizations, like yourself, a good place to start by highlighting the key players in this space.
Capterra set guidelines, first being that any software reviewed does more than simply file storage. That means they must provide file storage in addition to document tracking, security/permissions and more.
Intranet Connections, a new addition to version 5 of our Top 20 Most Popular Document Management Software report, earned a spot in the coveted top 10. Our Market Score is a non-revenue based representation of a company’s market share, converted to a 100-point scale. It considers a company’s customer and user numbers (each is weighted at 40% of the final score) and social media presence (Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter followers and total number of Capterra reviews make up a combined 20% of the rest of the score). With around 1,400 customers and nearly 387,000 users, Intranet earned a market score of 46 in this very competitive space.
We are thrilled with the recognition, and we were also quick to note; out of the Top 20, we are the only company that includes our top ranked document management in addition to a fully functional intranet software.
We stand in good company with the other document management software systems listed in the Top 20. It’s a great feeling to know that our document management functionality rivals companies that are completely dedicated to only offering that single element to businesses.
