As the year draws to a close and the holiday season is upon us, I enjoy taking the time to reflect on a productive and full year. In 2014, many of you embarked on intranet redesigns and we were thrilled to see most of you upgrade to our “Mega Release” and utilize the awesome power of Mega Menus. We also stepped into a new adventure and introduced two new intranet software products, our Financial Intranet and Healthcare Intranet, which have both been welcomed with resounding success and a lot of idea sharing!
Mid 2014 saw us finishing the rollout of our Mega Release and digging into our agile development of our next release Super Search, which is currently being implemented in production environments with many Beta customers. Super Search will be sent out to all customers during the first quarter of 2015. A huge thank you to our Customer Advisory Board in working with us to establish the feature set of our Super Search, and the feedback and suggestions provided to ensure this major enhancement to intranet search were not only powerful but incredibly easy and user-friendly.
Part of my goal for 2014 as a company was to get back to our roots of simplicity and to deepen the connection we have with customers. As a business, the pleasure and reward is in those connections and in sharing. With that in mind, our incredible Marketing Team shared customer success stories, such as: Gold Coast Hospital, Pima Federal Credit Union, Diversified Search and Westminster Canterbury.
We also added to our popular eBook collection, with new eBooks that many of you have been enjoying, including: The Top 10 Things to Look for in an Intranet, The History of the Intranet, Executive’s Guide to Engagement on the Intranet and more.
As we redesigned Intranet Connections with Mega Menus, we also redesigned and relaunched our public website with Mega Menus and Mega Resources. In an effort to share more with customers, we launched our Webinars video series to help you continue to improve and grow your intranet software, building on ideas from other customers.
We identified your need to better Connect. Collaborate. & Create. making it our mission to help you empower employees to connect, collaborate and create their way to a better workplace. We shared some of these thoughts in our latest Intranet Connections video that also pokes a bit of fun at how much organizations are choosing to move off SharePoint and onto Intranet Connections:
We had so much fun creating this video! So much so, that we have done a follow up to this video focusing on the power of how to leverage your Financial Intranet:
2014 has been a very busy, rewarding and yet tough year for the team at Intranet Connections. Tough in that we lost a team member, Brandon Ricci, far too young and far too soon. In that tragedy, we pulled together and found strength in our connection, not just to our customers, but to each other.
In 2014, we brought on many new customers, especially with our Financial and Healthcare Intranets. Warm thanks to all of you who chose Intranet Connections and became a part of our valued family. We also congratulated many customers who have passed the 10 years (and even 15 years!) mark with us. For me especially, that is rewarding.
Thank you for your continued support of Intranet Connections, whether that be as a customer, an intranet colleague, or a fan of our blog and intranet articles and e-books. We have loved connecting, collaborating and creating with you this year and look forward to starting 2015 with a BANG, with our highly anticipated Super Search release!
We wish you a joyful and restful holiday season and the happiest New Year.
